Compared to 2023, Vietnam's forest area has increased from 14,860,309 hectares to 14,874,302 hectares, a growth of about 14,000 hectares. However, while plantation forests grew by over 70,000 hectares, natural forests declined by nearly 5,000 hectares. This figure indicates that the degradation of primary forests continues quietly yet persistently.

Against this backdrop, individual and organizational efforts to restore ecosystems not only carry immediate significance but also contribute to shaping a sustainable future for the entire planet.
With a commitment to sustainable development, Gloton persistently pursues environmentally friendly initiatives, including an annual tree planting program.

Building on the success of planting 1,000 trees at Thac Ba – Nui Ong (Binh Thuan) in 2024, Gloton continues its green journey. At the end of July this year, we partnered with Joy Foundation under the Forest Garden Project at Ta Dung National Park, together sowing seeds for the future.

Ta Dung National Park, with a total area of 20,937.7 hectares, lies between the provinces of Dak Nong and Lam Dong and is one of Vietnam's most vital nature reserves.
Nicknamed the "Inland Ha Long Bay", Ta Dung not only boasts breathtaking landscapes but also shelters 1,406 species of higher plants and 574 animal species across 38 orders. Among them are many rare and endangered species, making forest conservation and restoration here more urgent than ever.

Gloton's tree-planting trip with Joy Foundation at Ta Dung National Park was not just an environmental protection activity but also a meaningful journey of learning and experiencing, with two main activities:
1. Reforesting the hills
Tree planting was conducted under the guidance of experienced forest rangers at Ta Dung.
Various native forest species were interplanted to ensure high adaptability to the soil conditions, with a spacing of 4 meters between trees and planting holes sized 40 x 40 cm.
This method ensures that saplings have ample space to grow and can maximize soil nutrients, thereby increasing their survival rate.

2. Ecosystem exploration and experience
Alongside tree planting, we ventured deep into the forest with Ta Dung's rangers—not only to explore its unique ecosystem but also to understand the challenges this “green lung” faces.
This was an essential part of the journey, helping participants gain deeper insight into the value and importance of forest conservation and fostering a profound connection with the wild.

With a strong sense of responsibility, Gloton and the volunteer team contributed to planting 500 new trees on the first day of the journey, bringing a hopeful green hue to the barren hills.
After days of tireless work in nature, every member of the team left behind not just filled planting holes, but also deep emotional impressions—of the forest's beauty, the fragility of ecosystems, and humanity’s role in regenerating nature.

The trip to Ta Dung National Park is a vital link in the ESG (Environmental – Social – Governance) chain of initiatives that Gloton steadfastly pursues. From Binh Thuan to the Central Highlands, from each tiny sprout to the commitment of post-planting monitoring, all reflect a long-term, responsible mindset for action.
Gloton would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Joy Foundation and the forest rangers at Ta Dung National Park for accompanying and supporting us throughout this meaningful journey.
In the future, Gloton will continue partnering with Joy Foundation to expand reforestation efforts in a sustainable and effective manner.
"Seeing how much waste events create, Gloton started exploring the use of cardboard for decorations in 2022. Our goal is to cut carbon emissions by using recycled, eco-friendly materials.
Every project tells a story of our creativity, our dedication to protecting the planet, and our drive to keep innovating."
